D. CANCELLED MATCHES
1. Cancelled matches are those that never commenced.
2. In case of inclement weather, heat conditions (95 degrees or hotter), poor air quality (Air Quality Index greater than 200), or other causes outside the control of both teams, the match may be cancelled by mutual agreement from both captains. The match should be rescheduled as soon as possible. Captains should notify their respective teams about the cancellation . . .
PASSED WITH NO OBJECTIONS
P. 20
5. The Executive Board has the discretion to move the last place team down if
that team loses the division two years in a row or there is no room in a level. It may also move an existing team up a level based on the proposed roster, level of play and diversity of clubs at the level.
PASSED WITH NO OBJECTIONS

REQUIREMENT FOR NEW OR RECONFIGURED TEAMS
1. A reconfigured team is defined as two existing teams combining to form one
team or an existing team splitting into two with the addition of new players.
A maximum of 4 players from an existing team (including those who may be mandated) may move up to the same higher Division team/location.
PASSED WITH NO OBJECTIONS
THESE REVISED RULES (IF PASSED BY THE CAPTAINS) WILL BE IMPLENTED AT THE START OF THE 2024-2025 SEASON.
INCREASE OF LEAGUE FEES
Motion was made to increase the League fees to $200 per team starting with the 2024-2025 season. The reason is because the league has been supplementing the cost of the Awards Luncheon for the past several luncheons in an effort to keep the price per ticket down.
PASSED WITH NO OBJECTIONS
OTHER DISCUSSIONS
1. Rostered players who played no matches should be moved to the sub list at the next roster change period.
2. We discourage players with 3.5 USTA ratings to be put on a D1 roster.
3. The WTL does not use Tennis Record estimated dynamic ratings when determning line designations. We follow our own WTL stats along with USTA ratings to determine players’ ability. It is up to the captains to determine the order of strength of their players when determining lines.
Respectfully submitted
